All but Med'41. However, the Russian ones follow a German/Russian path and you may find yourself fighting in 1945 for Berlin.
bullet D-XXI on Tuesday 24 August 2010 - 13:51:35
Paul,

thx, I will try that as soon as my own computer has been fixed.

As I could select the Italian career from DCG (Med'41, Tobruk'41, Typhoon '41, Rhez '42 and Kursk, I assumed that those campaigns are linked.
bullet Lowengrin on Sunday 22 August 2010 - 21:16:42
Further to my note below, as the winner was Italy, you need to change the "Red" to "Blue" in the first line.
bullet Lowengrin on Sunday 22 August 2010 - 21:15:55
Med'41 is actually a stand-alone campaign. It doesn't link to anything. If you want it to link to Tobruk '41, you'll need to add the following to the grandcampaign.dcg file:

[Mediterranean41 o Tobruk41] Red
Campaign=Western_Campaign
Map=SandsOfTime
StartDate=01/12/1941
Front=Tobruk_Supply_Depot
DeHome=Bengazi_Road
RuHome=El_Alamein_Road
DeBase=Gazala_Airfield
RuBase=Gambut_Airfield
Locale1=Maleme_Airfield
Locale2=Maleme
Locale3=Bengazi_Road_Depot
Locale4=Maleme_Beachhead

Hello Paul,

I have a problem witk the DCG Italian Career. When the first campaign (Mediterrenean) ends because the enemy has retreated, I do not progress to the next campaign (Tobruk). I only get new missions without any enemies. Do you have any ideas?
bullet Lowengrin on Wednesday 11 August 2010 - 17:28:13
You're welcome.

Thank you for helping. And thank you for making your hard work available for the community to use.
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 10 August 2010 - 18:14:31
Yes, the following mission briefing screen should have the debrief of the previous mission which should at the very least state who flew the last mission.
bullet EP88**Nosey on Monday 09 August 2010 - 22:59:37
Is there any way to tell whether DCG is or is not finding and using an eventlog.lst file to shape the changes in the next sequential mission of a campaign?
bullet Lowengrin on Monday 09 August 2010 - 20:36:06
DCG uses the eventlog from IL-2 in all modes (offline, coop and dogfight) to send the mission results back to DCG. So make sure that in the IL2 conf.ini file you have the following:

eventlog=eventlog.lst
eventlogkeep=0
bullet EP88**Nosey on Monday 09 August 2010 - 04:42:40
Does DCG use either of the 2 log systems of IL2 for returning Co-Op play results back to DCG? If so, where can I find documentation on what the logs need to be set to? I checked "Articles", I checked the tailspin document, checked google.
bullet Mukai on Saturday 31 July 2010 - 05:17:49
Ok thanks for the quick reply And thanks for a great mod 10/10
bullet Lowengrin on Friday 30 July 2010 - 21:50:55
"Fast" is as fast as it gets.
bullet Mukai on Friday 30 July 2010 - 20:06:45
Hey I have 1 more question . Is there a way to increase the time passage so that i fly for example 1 mission every 2 weeks or something like that? I have it at 'Fast' and it takes so long(I'm impatient and doing a grand campaign XD) If there isn't away I'll continue on Thx again.
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 20 July 2010 - 19:44:20
There's some discussion at the forum on the subject of UP. See http://forums.oesau.jg1.org/viewtopic.php?t=17792
bullet Mukai on Tuesday 20 July 2010 - 05:19:48
Is il2 DCG compatible with UP 2.01? I really want to use these 2 mods together, that wud be awesome!
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 13 July 2010 - 18:57:28
The non-vanilla campaigns must be activated through the DCG "File" menu - you need to point DCG to them using the "Optional 3rd Party Data Folder" link.
bullet Matt on Monday 12 July 2010 - 23:06:55
I can do the standard vanilla campaigns well enough, but the campaign that I downloaded for the Spanish civil war for instance does not work, nor does the Finnish winter war campaign (that isnt vannilla) and neitehr do either of the Australian DCG Campaigns (which sucks, because I am Australian!
bullet Lowengrin on Monday 12 July 2010 - 18:41:07
Make sure you have the "DGen Replacement" mode checked before clicking on the "Globe" icon and doing as suggested below.
bullet Matt on Sunday 11 July 2010 - 20:18:36
I'm having the same problem as vinno, except I tried that method, and it didn't work, I still get the Beep every time I click "generate"
bullet vinno on Saturday 12 June 2010 - 04:15:09
Thanks, it worked

I dont know what I was doing wrong.
bullet Lowengrin on Friday 11 June 2010 - 08:36:59
"Ann", register at the forum and ask there. There are a number of brilliant handsome young bucks who would love to help you.
bullet jamesdeanoo7 on Friday 11 June 2010 - 06:51:12
Hi, Please excuse my igonorence as I have only just discovered this brilliant IL" game. I have patched it up to 2.on and love the zuti mods. Now I have found this brilliant site and this is all mind blowing.I am not an expert with computors but love populating bases and ports etc...I have tried to use the docs here but still am confused. Is there a real idiots, step by step guide out there anywhere or anyone who could walk a poor 16 year old blond nyphomanic whose father owns a brewery through this. Thanks Ann.
bullet Lowengrin on Thursday 10 June 2010 - 18:32:59
That sounds like a missing DGEN data file. Try making a custom campaign by running DCG and clicking on the "Globe" icon. Then select "RAF" and "France 40" and click the "Create" button. Then run the game and look for a user defined DCG campaign in the British folder.
bullet vinno on Thursday 10 June 2010 - 16:42:22
Yes I have 1946.
When I try to start a campaign in western europe I get a "beep" and nothing happens
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 08 June 2010 - 16:47:26
Assuming you have IL-2 1946, I'm not sure you need them.
bullet vinno on Sunday 06 June 2010 - 14:20:31
Hi I could do with a bit of help...

I want to start a compaign as the RAF fighting over france and the battle of britain. However netwings is down and I cant download the add ons I need. Does anyone know where I can get them?

Thanks.
bullet Deadmeat on Monday 17 May 2010 - 17:26:54
notjef, just checking. Have you got 'No Instant Success' selected on your difficulty settings? Make sure that is switched off.
bullet Lowengrin on Sunday 16 May 2010 - 09:50:44
This isn't a commercial website so it doesn't have 7/24 support.

It sounds like your campaign's got a bit mixed up. Try opening the campaign.ini file in the campaign folder. You should see a list of mission names (dates). If there is "end" at the bottom, delete it and put dcgmission.mis instead. That might "wake" it up.
bullet notjef on Saturday 15 May 2010 - 18:00:13
Please, someone help, I need to be able to continue if my plane is damaged and I bail out! It makes no SENSE! Is anybody even on this website? I've still not been activated =/
