Thanks a lot Lowengrin!
bullet Lowengrin on Thursday 15 April 2010 - 17:31:26
Hi Soare, check the forum for updates on the DCG files required for UP. As for the new (mod) maps, anyone can build a campaign if they have enough patience and a willingness to dig in the forum for answers. But the place to start is Tailspin's excellent (but dated) document http://www.lowengrin.com/download.php?view.85
bullet Lowengrin on Thursday 15 April 2010 - 17:28:04
Hi Mukai, the next map depends on which side "won" the current map and how many maps the current one branches into. The grandcampaign.dcg file contains all the paths campaigns will take. Just look for your current one in the left and the next one will be listed on the right for each [ENTRY]. The Blue/Red will indicate which side won.
bullet RO_SOARE on Thursday 15 April 2010 - 12:37:37
And another thing, with latest Ultra Pack 2.01, we have many new planes and maps, when can we see them in a DCG generator? tnx.
bullet RO_SOARE on Thursday 15 April 2010 - 12:17:29
Hi, I am using latest Zuti Mod, how can I add new maps and build new campaings for these new maps? Thank you
bullet Mukai on Thursday 15 April 2010 - 11:29:35
Hi I was just wondering, how can I tell what the next map in a campaign is? Like,for example, does the the maps go from Libya-Mareth Line- Italy and does it end there or does it keep going onto a different map?
bullet Lowengrin on Wednesday 14 April 2010 - 20:55:06
If the payload option is only "default", then there are no entries for the B-17 in the allpayloads.dcg file (these make up the dropdown box). Check that you have this file and if you do that you have the B-17 in it.
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 22:54:57
@Lowengrin
Sir, thank you very much, seems editing the default payload is a success, I just don't know that you can edit it manually since drop down menu don't show anything aside from DAFAULT. I'm sorry for being noob, I guess this program is confusing me. Its a great program though so thank you very much for it.
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 22:18:18
@Lowengrin
OK thank I will try that, I already set the ground attack with no avail, I'll try your other recommendation. I try to increase the radius, I already customize the Aircraft Class Panel. Thanks I will update you later. Thanks AGAIN
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 18:10:56
The other thing to check is the "Aircraft Class Panel" settings for the B-17. Make sure it has some bombs for the bombing payload options. If they are set to "DEFAULT", you will not have bombs and therefore will not get bombing missions.
bullet Lowengrin on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 18:07:49
If you are flying a B-17 series, I assume you are using a mod? I've never tested DCG with a B-17, but it should behave similar to a He-111. So...you might want to go to the custom mission panel and set your mission type to "Ground Attack" to ensure you don't get recon missions. Also, make sure you set the action radius large enough (if there are no targets for you within the action radius, you will get recon missions no matter what custom mission you select).
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 06:35:27
I hope someone could help me thanks
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 06:35:10
But after about 5-30 seconds It display a completed mission and I'm still on the ground, it sounds like a reconnaissance mission
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 06:33:27
for bombing mission and when I press FLY and look at the map, I don't see that waypoint that I need to bomb, Yes at the settings I turn waypoint display on of course
bullet striker16 on Tuesday 13 April 2010 - 06:32:31
Hello Im new to this software and want to have a b-17 series, but theres a problem in game. First at mission briefings theres a waypoin
bullet Deadmeat on Sunday 11 April 2010 - 04:17:13
I've tried re-installing DCG 3.45, and the problem hasn't recurred. So far so good. Cheers.
bullet Lowengrin on Saturday 10 April 2010 - 12:54:02
Yeah, Deadmeat. That's not the problem then. Have you got the latest DCG? There was a bug in the log parsing in the last one.
bullet Kapteeni on Saturday 10 April 2010 - 11:00:48
It took a while, but now i got it. Thank you. Making these campaigns are real fun. There is still lot of things to learn, though.
bullet Deadmeat on Saturday 10 April 2010 - 06:51:25
Ah, cheers. I have eventlogkeep=0 in my IL-2 game config file. That's the one, yeah?
bullet Lowengrin on Friday 09 April 2010 - 21:48:52
No, that's in the game's ini file.
bullet Deadmeat on Friday 09 April 2010 - 11:05:55
Is that in the dcg config file? I don't appear to have an eventlstkeep at all.
Should I add the line?
I'm using 3.45.
Cheers!
bullet Lowengrin on Thursday 08 April 2010 - 18:10:19
Deadmeat, check that you've got the eventlstkeep set to ZERO (0) and not ONE (1). And make sure you have the latest version of DCG.
bullet Lowengrin on Thursday 08 April 2010 - 18:09:23
Kapteeni, if you look in the messages.dcg, the order of the country IDs is in there and that order corresponse to their number.
bullet Deadmeat on Thursday 08 April 2010 - 13:53:55
Hello old chap!
I've run into a spot of bother with my campaign. It seems that after a mission with dead planes all over the place and bridges blown up etc, my debriefing quite often just states "nothing of significance to report". When I apply, its as if the mission never happened! My squadron's not dead.
Does this mean I've mis-clicked a setting? It happens maybe 50% of the time.
bullet Kapteeni on Thursday 08 April 2010 - 09:19:04
Questin about ID
AlliedID=0
AxisID=11
I quess that those ID numbers tells the nationality of both sides. Is there a info about ID numbers of certain countries? Or i'm i complitely wrong? That wouldn't be nothing new- LOL
bullet flyby1 on Saturday 03 April 2010 - 16:50:02

bullet Lowengrin on Monday 29 March 2010 - 21:29:49
Just copy the files from the DGEN folder inside the Declined Fortune folder into the game's DGEN folder. Then you should be good to go.
bullet flyby1 on Monday 29 March 2010 - 04:49:36

Lowengrin on 03 Sep : 13:13
ghostrider, email me.

ghostrider on 03 Sep : 10:17
Is it possible to use the version on the forums which was designed for UP 2.0 on condition I wouldn't use new planes?

Lowengrin on 03 Sep : 08:03
Rumours, rumours, rumours. The latest (as yet unreleased) version of DCG has enhancements which work with MDS.

ghostrider on 03 Sep : 01:05
Hi, Paul, I've read something about new version of DCG, which would work with UP 2.01. Is there any progress?

Lowengrin on 24 Aug : 15:03
All but Med'41. However, the Russian ones follow a German/Russian path and you may find yourself fighting in 1945 for Berlin.

D-XXI on 24 Aug : 13:51
Paul,

thx, I will try that as soon as my own computer has been fixed.

As I could select the Italian career from DCG (Med'41, Tobruk'41, Typhoon '41, Rhez '42 and Kursk, I assumed that those campaigns are linked.

Lowengrin on 22 Aug : 21:16
Further to my note below, as the winner was Italy, you need to change the "Red" to "Blue" in the first line.

Lowengrin on 22 Aug : 21:15
Med'41 is actually a stand-alone campaign. It doesn't link to anything. If you want it to link to Tobruk '41, you'll need to add the following to the grandcampaign.dcg file:

[Mediterranean41 o Tobruk41] Red
Campaign=Western_Campaign
Map=SandsOfTime
StartDate=01/12/1941
Front=Tobruk_Supply_Depot
DeHome=Bengazi_Road
RuHome=El_Alamein_Road
DeBase=Gazala_Airfield
RuBase=Gambut_Airfield
Locale1=Maleme_Airfield
Locale2=Maleme
Locale3=Bengazi_Road_Depot
Locale4=Maleme_Beachhead

D-XXI on 22 Aug : 07:08
Hello Paul,

I have a problem witk the DCG Italian Career. When the first campaign (Mediterrenean) ends because the enemy has retreated, I do not progress to the next campaign (Tobruk). I only get new missions without any enemies. Do you have any ideas?

Lowengrin on 11 Aug : 17:28
You're welcome.
