II deleted my 3.41 folder before
moved back to 3.40 .There was also this weird thing that i always had to reboot before i could start 3.41 again . I think i DL 3.41 and try that again. Maybe my 3.41 sas corrupted. Btw i have made several maps and some of them are based to excistind DF map, just for DCG compability reasons. DCG is the best mission/campaign generator.

You aren't having more than one instance of DCG running at a time, are you?

I have the same prob than Tally. I'm using 3.40 version without any problems though! My 3.41 works sometimes. and suddenly it stops to work

I'd start with DCG but not the whole game - although if (for some bizarre reason) the mission folder/subfolders are read only, you should fix that.

Paul,
Still having problems re I/O error 1224 message when playing IL21946 with latest DCG. I set the files to off Read Only like you suggested but I`m still getting system Lock-Ups .
Would you recommend a complete reinstall of the game and the DCG?
Thanks

Yes, I think the 1946 version includes USAAF and RAF. If not, see where you can get the RAF from the article pages above.

Ah, I see. I figured as much, I'm just use to the stock dgen and its promotion system. Your dcg is one of the greatest additions to IL-2 I have yet to find. Also, if I dont have the paid addons for BOE and the others, can I still play the usaaf and raf camp. with the 1946 disc.
