Although the escorts may not follow the bomber flight plan exactly, they should not have a flight plan going in the opposite direction. If this happens, please send me the mission file.
There's no fixing the issue with the "test" runways. However, human players can always land at the larger airfield next door. It will not impact the next mission if they do.

Another point, not DCG related but am hoping there's a solution. The English 'airfield' (i.e. the single strip on the island) is sitting on the grass with a large drop off on either side making it impossible to turn off the runway without cracking up your airplane. Is there a workaround? Thanks.

The escort flight plans often go in the opposite direction to the bombers' flight plan which basically leaves them vulnerable. Normandy 42 US. We usually end up ignoring the DCG generated flight plan so we can escort the bombers properly. Can this be adjusted at all?

Thanks, Loadstone. I'll take some time this weekend to verify your findings.

First - Regarding the SBD problems...I found that if I kept generating missions, after around 7 or 8 recon missions it finally started giving me strike mission (that was with worst weather set to poor).
Secondly - svetonio..I am using mat manager with 4.08 with no problems. check to make sure that when you installed 4.08 that your cache setting were not reset. ClearCache (in game section of conf.ini) must be set to ClearCache=0

I don't know. Hopefully someone can answer your question.

Why with patch 4.08m nothing happens when activating Mat Manager changings (f.e. swastika and so on)?

I think there may be a bug. The first mission should be a recon (as the carrier forces hunt for each other) but after that, you should get a strike mission. The exception being that the weather is really bad. Try setting the weather for the campaign so that it doesn't get worse than hazy and set the campaign Time Passage to "Slow" or "Very Slow". Hopefully this will fix the issue. (Meanwhile I'll look at the issue on my end.)

I have another question Paul, and am unable to find an answer int eh forums. I am trying to do a Coral Sea campaign as an SBD pilot using single-player manual generation mode. The campaign works fine for Wildcats, but when I change my unit to VB-1 (Yorktown) and my plane to SBD, the DGC generates the same recon mission over and over. The mission it generates has its first waypoint way off the north end of the map, and since I am a flight of 1 SBD I cannot order my flight to skip to the next waypoint. I tried flying all teh way to the recon goal without autopilot, but even after getting there the next mission was the exact same thing again. Is an SBD campaign for Coral Sea just not in the cards for me? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

No problem.
